Hi-vis is a tender business: the certificate decides whether your bid counts. We source Class 2 and Class 3 hi-vis programs from specialist factories with valid garment-level EN ISO 20471 certification — plus ANSI/ISEA 107 dual labels for buyers selling into the US.
| Class | Minimum visible area | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Class 3 | Highest background + retroreflective area | Motorways, railways, high-speed roadwork, low-light logistics — the tender minimum for serious infrastructure contracts |
| Class 2 | Intermediate | Roadside, warehouses, waste & recycling, delivery |
| Class 1 | Lowest | Off-road, low-risk environments |
Remember: EN ISO 20471 certifies the garment as a whole. A Class 3 jacket worn without the compliant bib/trouser drops the combination below Class 3. We plan the full system — jackets, bibs, trousers, vests — so the certified combination survives how your crews actually dress.
Certified fabrics must hold colour and brightness after xenon-arc fading tests. We source from mills with current EN ISO 20471 fabric certificates and verify retroreflective tape (wash-cycle rated) against the garment's intended laundry program.
